Outstanding Service for Over 50 Years

Centrally located in the New York City metropolitan area and based in Harrison, NY, G.A. Fleet's 65 employees include degreed engineers, Professional Engineers, MBAs, and highly trained technicians, all working in concert to service the single largest US market.

G.A. Fleet Associates, Inc. was established in the mid-1950's as manufacturers' representatives for equipment utilized by the building trades, plumbing, water, and waste treatment markets. Many years of experience working with the New York State Department of Health, Consulting Engineering firms, and the City of New York Department of Public Works gave G.A. Fleet access and credibility with the key decision makers in those organizations. The firm grew from the need to assist Consulting Engineers, Architects, Contractors, and Owners with the proper selection and application of the varied engineered systems and mechanical equipment used in their projects. Technical expertise was, and is, required to properly design the equipment, controls, and instrumentation utilized in a water pollution control plant, high rise office and apartment building, hospital or hotel, to insure reliable, safe and efficient operation.

G.A. Fleet Associates, Inc. specializes in plumbing and fire protection pumping systems, Municipal water and waste pumping systems and specialty electrical and control systems. In plumbing and fire we provide the packaged fire and domestic water booster systems, sump and sewage pumps, hot water heaters and special heating cables required in most of the major high rise buildings, hospitals, and institutions. Our project list is the Manhattan Skyline.

In Municipal we represent the most respected names in waste and water pumping, as well as provide the highly engineered control systems required by that market. Our specialty electrical and control products are sold in all markets, HVAC, Plumbing, Municipal, and Electrical. These products are based on state-of the art, often proprietary technology and material science.

Our success is a result of the demonstrated ability to provide a complete project for the Contractor, Engineer, and Owner. We offer a single source responsibility for designing and providing the appropriate equipment and systems, ensuring that the system functions as it was intended to, and solving the any technical or field problems that arise.

In 1989 G.A. Fleet became the leader in the HVAC large pump market with the addition of the Frank A. Kristal Company. This addition, to address the needs of the HVAC market, brought the most prestigious names in HVAC, Plumbing, and Municipal pumping under one roof. For 40 years, the Kristal Company had provided the large chilled and condenser water pumps that the high-rise and institutional NYC marketplace required.

While G.A. Fleet continues to provide pumping solutions to the HVAC marketplace, we have expanded our focus. State-of-the art controls and instrumentation, custom prefabricated mechanical systems and high efficiency boilers have been added to our product lines, enabling us to provide unique turn-key design and manufacturing solutions to engineers, Owners, Performance Contractors, and Agencies.

Fleet Pump & Service Group, Inc. founded in 1987, is dedicated to the "in-place" equipment market. Housed in an 11,000 sq. ft. building are mechanics' stations, a test pit to run calibrated flow tests (up to 6000 GPM), inventory, and office space. Fleet Pump includes our Service Sales, Parts Department, Portable/Rental, and Service Contract Departments, mechanics and technicians, a team of 35 members focused on maintaining and expanding our vast population of systems and equipment sold.

Most recently we have begun fabrication of custom sized and configured packaged booster and tank fill systems when "off-the-shelf" systems are not suitable. We fabricate approximately two packages per month utilizing the highest quality components and controls, with working pressures up to 600 PSI.

We also specialize in complete pre-fabricated and customized sump and sewage pit retrofits designed for ease of installation and state of the art design for trouble free operation and minimal maintenance.
