We do more than just look at pump selection charts and pick the closest. We ask questions.
We understand your project and the application before we help you pick the right pump, water heater, control valve or system. We act as your second set of eyes, so we can cross-check and learn from each other. Our goal is to catch "paper" mistakes rather than fix real ones in the field later on.
Sump and sewage pumping applications may be the most sensitive to proper pump selection. If the design flow rate is too small or the head too low (for instance if the pit depth is not included) the pump will not keep up with the flow or will not be able to discharge the effluent from the pit. More frequently, the design flow and the design pump head are too large. This may result in the short cycling: the pump starting and stopping too frequently.
